Our concrete fire tables are designed for outdoor use and built with weather resistance in mind, but pairing them with the included cover when not in use will significantly extend their lifespan. In climates with hard freezes, storing the table in a sheltered area or garage during winter months is a good practice. This helps preserve both the concrete finish and the burner components over the long term.
The Manhattan, Metropolis, and Granville fire tables all ship with lava rocks included, which are a great heat-diffusing medium right out of the box. You can absolutely swap in fire glass or colored lava rocks to match your patio aesthetic — just make sure any replacement media is rated for propane use. Avoid using standard gravel or decorative stones not rated for high heat.
